Finding ways to empower your learners? Try my fully editable weekly progress report.
Empowering learners to record their work, reflect on their habits and effectively communicate with others are key executive functioning skills for the 21st century. No more "did you complete it?" questions or "were you in the small group lesson?" Everything is recorded and tracked on this sheet.
How It Works:
Learners receive a blank copy at the beginning of each week. Allow daily time for the learner to record his or her work. Then, every Friday, host small group conferencing to discuss the work accomplished, questions, concerns and to create SMART goals. This allows for parent communication, work documentation and intervention/resource documentation.
Have the learner bring the progress report to every lesson. After you have presented a lesson, the learner will immediately write the lesson down as presented.
