Do your students add periods in the wrong places? Or, do they not include any periods in their writing? Here is a terrific differentiated activity to make teaching where a sentence ends easy!
Included is an example of how to teach this lesson and a 2-page activity for each of 3 levels:
*extra support- includes pictures to aid with decoding
Each level has 6 pairs of sentences. Students have to figure out where to separate each pair of sentences, add the periods (and capitals, if necessary). Included are tips on what worked with my students :).
Each can be copied 2-sided. Or, you can laminate and cut them apart for students to use at a writing center!
