Students will assume the role of an English journalist in 1830 to write an editorial for the London Times. An editorial is a written article that typically expresses an opinion about a topic. In students' editorials they will address whether the Industrial Revolution improved life for European citizens and answer a FOCUS QUESTION: Did the Industrial Revolution positively and/or negatively affect the development of countries. Students will also suggest ways to address problems created by this time period. This assignment can be used as a standalone assignment or as a Written Assessment.
