Product Description
Welcome to versatile and unique supplements that can be used with the Edmark Reading Program list of sight words; they are materials helpful for special education students and early reading comprehension

This is a unique bundle of word practice pages made in the design of Edmark's word recognition workbooks. They are systematically organized into a concentration of 10 words at a time every 7 pages, so it's like having a new Edmark workbook that covers all 150 words! Not just that, these pages contain more frequently seen words as well as more sentences and sentences ideas that connect together.

What’s Included

150 pages of word recognition.

Every 7 pages, 10 words from the program are focused on. This way, the pages begin with a review of ten targeted words and then get harder as you go.

Check out the preview: it has it all!

Things That Could Be Helpful

The included practice word pages are best used as a supplement to the Edmark Reading program. They are similar to the format contained in the “word recognition” workbooks but with the following differences:

o Some words are bold, in the beginning, for the purpose of creating breaks in the reading effort
o More phrases are included
o There are fewer and fewer nonsense words as the student progresses
o Words often capitalized in reading are often capitalized in these practice pages
o Core vocabulary words are included more frequently
o No asterisks denoting what should be read by you and what should not; you
decide

The first 7 pages focus on the first 10 words in the program.
The next 7 pages focus on the first 10 words in the program, with some repetition of prior words.
The next 7 pages focus on the next 10 words in the program, with some repetition of prior words.
The next 7 pages focus on the next 10 words in the program, with repetition of prior words.
The next 7 pages focus on the next 10 words in the program, with repetition of prior words.

In this way, the student is reviewing 10 words at a time and gradually advances.
This was designed as a supplement for one of my students, who had repeated difficulty with the word recognition pages, and needed supplemental practice that was a little different than what was in the workbook.
