Are you planning to use Edmodo™ with your class? Did you know that the site requires parental permission for students under the age of 18? Before you let your students tick that box, use this letter requesting parental permission. This way you can help your students with the account setup in school, but you set a good example in taking online checkboxes as seriously as any other contract.
As a bonus, the product contains step by step directions for students to set up their account with you in class. This way they will have the Edmodo™-generated class "group code" written in front of them. They can also write their username and password hint right away to save in case they forget it. Simply collect the directions paper after setting up the accounts with your class. This way you can assist students who have forgotten in the days to come. You also want to collect these to keep the group code secure.
