Educational Space Resources
by Tiny Space Adventures
In case you haven’t guessed there are SO many space resources out there for educators and not all of them could possibly be listed! I’ve put together a list of what I think is the best of the best, and put a heart by my favorites. I hope you find this useful and find a few favorites of your own. Here are the topics the list includes:
This & That- things like how to request NASA speakers, using the Educator Resource Centers, getting free NASA artifacts and how to get mobile alerts when the ISS flies by you
Online Curriculum- grades K-12, Science & Math, even some available in Spanish and others w/ great NASA videos
Mobile Apps- you've gotta check out these out! Great for use in the classroom on an Ipad or at home with your kids!
Social Media- NASA is known for being on the these sites...they've even won awards for their savvy!
Multimedia- access to books, pictures, TV events and even kids can watch and create DIY podcasts w/ NASA clips & info (cool!)
Interactive Websites- No-one does Augments Reality (AR) like NASA does!
Space e-Newsletters- keep up to date on the latest at NASA w/ emails from different NASA education organizations.
Games for Kids- can't leave the kids out :) a few safe fun and educational sites for them to learn about space. One is also available in Spanish.
