This is designed to be used in a professional development/coaching setting for teachers to individually assess instructional effectiveness. It is meant to help with goal setting, discussion, or individual coaching. Instructional coaches or administrators can work with a teacher, once the assessment has been completed to determine areas of need or growth in a teacher's instruction. It can also be used as a first step toward formal goal setting as it allows teachers the opportunity to reflect on current practices and identify areas of focus for the upcoming school year(s).
