Language therapy for students with autism and other complex disorders is discussed here. This webinar can stand alone or be taken with the ABA SPEECH BOOTCAMP videos. Participants will learn about strategies to help increase learner cooperation. Reinforcement will be discussed at length and how to effectively use it as a teaching tool for students. In addition, specific skills to address with early learners with complex communication disorders will be addressed. It can be overwhelming to know what to work on with students who are just starting to communicate. Let this webinar help to give you a scope and sequence of skills to address. Descriptions are easy to understand and can be implemented into therapy the next day. Join me on this journey!

What are Certification Maintenance Hours (CMHs) and how are they calculated?
A CMH is 60 minutes spent in a professional development activity as a learner and participant. CMHs are accumulated through participation in non-ASHA CEU activities for the purpose of maintaining your CCC.
CMHs are calculated as follows:
3.0 continuing education units (CEUs) = 30 CMHs
1.0 CEU = 10 CMHs
0.1 CEU = 1 CMH
1 quarter hour of academic course work = 10 CMHs
1 semester hour of academic course work = 15 CMHs
