Students will practice reading sight words while playing this fun hidden egg game. Players try to find the egg under the bunnies by taking turns reading sight words. If they can read the word they may keep the card (or score a point and turn the bunny over) and look under the bunny to see if they found the egg. When the egg is found the game is over. Players or teams with the most sight words read, wins the game. If played whole group a pocket chart would be a good place to play. It could also be played as a sight word memory matching game.
Dolch Sight Words Pre-primer words were used for this game game. There are 40 words and 4 eggs. You only need one egg. The others are extras. There are 3 blank bunnies.
