To create this center, you will need a garland of Easter
Eggs. I found mine at The Dollar Tree years ago. If you
can’t find one, you can use colored beads instead. I cut
the garland apart and restrung the eggs to make shorter
strings of 2 colors. (4 yellow eggs, 5 blue eggs) The
children choose a string and count the eggs. They draw
and color the eggs on their string on the empty string
on the recording sheet. Then they write 2 addition
sentences and 2 subtraction sentences to make a fact
family to match their string. It makes a fun center to
practice fact families. Hope your kids have fun with it.
