With the help of the short animated film "Egghunt", students explore the themes of sharing and feelings. They begin with a "pre-reading" presentation, which gives the students context and highlights the uses of the adjectives “long” & “short”. The students then test their attention to detail by answering questions about the film, reviewing question forms (answer sheet provided). Students then write what this very expressive caveman could be saying and feeling at different points in the film. Word bank provided for students who need it. Finally, the main idea of SHARING is summed up with a word puzzle reviewing the vocabulary of feelings. Excerpts from film used with permission. Original activities by Visualising Ideas.
