Third grade students are learning about countries around the World. This fun, engaging, and interactive activity asks students to create an EASY flip book as they learn about the country of Egypt.
We are making this flip book over the course of the time we learn about Egypt.
You can have your students make this flip book in any way you choose, but I would suggest printing pages 3-10, double stapling at the top of the flip book. Once you give the flip book to students, all they need to do is cut along the dotted lines and begin their study of Egypt!
I tried to include a balanced amount of information on the Ancient Egypt, as well as modern day Egypt. Kids think it’s super exciting to learn about Ancient Egypt, but I wanted my students to see how some traditions are very similar to other countries. The second page of this Flip Book gives students directions on how to use colored pencils or crayons to help comprehend what they are reading. I hope your kiddos enjoy!
The pages included in the book include:
*Map of Egypt: Where in the World?
*Flag of Egypt
*Food of Egypt
*Celebrations in Egypt
*Places to Visit in Egypt
*King Tut and the Afterlife
