Use this quiz to test student's knowledge on the rank and job of each member of Ancient Egypt's social class pyramid. First, students will fill in a blank social class pyramid with the correct rank of each of the six social class groups: pharaoh, government official, priest, scribe, artisan, or peasant. Next, students will match each class to its correct daily job description. Last, students will explain why the social class rankings is shaped like a pyramid (smallest groups with the most power on top, largest groups with the least power on the bottom).
