Product Description
I made this activity for students for two reasons; to get my kids reading, while at the same time helping them understand King Tut.

This packet includes three articles:
*Who was King Tut?
*How did Tut die?
*Howard Carter: Discovering Tut's Tomb.

Students are asked to read these articles while using colored pencils or crayons to mark up the text to demonstrate understanding.

Also included is a King Tut booklet where students will record the information they learned in the articles. I call this a craftivity, as students need to place information inside, while also coloring and cutting. This makes a great decoration for the hallway!

Hope you and your students enjoy and have fun with this project! :)

Thanks for looking!
-Dan M.

PLEASE NOTE:
These articles would be a bit difficult to read for 2nd graders, however, if you are reading them to your students or reading as a class, this could be used for 2nd grade, as well.
