Students learn to convert currencies from Euros to Dollars while discussing the Eiffel Tower. The paper contains the prices for elevator rides to each level for students, adults, and elderly. There is a blank at the top of the page for for current conversion rate. Students are asked to evaluate the cost in dollars and euros for themselves, the whole class, and their whole family to visit various levels of the tower. There is no key provided, as answers will vary based upon the ages of the people in the groups.
I use this in a 7th grade Foreign Language Exploratory course.
