Happy Halloween! This unit contains seven engaging games for your K-1 class. These games are great with the printable manipulatives provided, or with fun holiday mini erasers (found at Target, Amazon, or the Dollar Store).

*Race to 20---(Ten Frames) Students roll a die, and place that many manipulatives on their game mat. First player to exactly reach 20 is the winner.
*Counting Candy Corn—(Subitizing) Students will count/subitize the candy on their card and cover the amount on their game board.
*Race to the Spooky House! —(Subitizing). Students will compare the amount on their card. Player with the greater amount will advance to the spooky house.
*Number Word Boo! — (Number words) Students will hide a ghost in a spooky house. Students must read the number word to check for the ghost.
*Frankie’s Four in a Row— (Die Pattern/Strategy) Students will roll a die and cover the numeral on their game board. First to have four in a row wins.
*Clear the Pumpkin Patch (Sums using dice/Probability)—Students will find the sum of two dice to clear their board of 5 pumpkins.
*Let’s Get Batty—(Finding the sum of two dice) Students will find the sum of two dice to cover the numeral on their game board.
*Square Number Puzzles—Students will assemble square four-piece puzzles with objects representing the numbers 1-10.
