Eight Parts of Speech Jar

The Parts of Speech Jar helps students learn the eight different parts of speech by recognizing them and sorting them into the correct category. This activity can be part of a center, used in small groups, or as an early finishers activity. There are several activities that can be played with the parts of speech. Students can sort them into correct categories or choose words to make silly sentences to practice using parts of speech correctly.
I have included editable cards on a PowerPoint slide for you to add your own words.
