Eight Science and Engineering Practices for Little Kids

Using these practices with your students will help them to understand the processes of science and of engineering as they investigate the world around them. Based on the work that actual scientists and engineers do, these practices are found throughout the framework of the new standards.Perfect for Grades K-3! The new science standards (NGSS) require students to use eight essential practices of science and engineering as they demonstrate knowledge of core scientific concepts and engineering design.

This poster set will provide your students with little kid-friendly reminders about the processes that should be included in their Science and STEM activities as they observe, investigate, and solve problems. Included in this resource, you will find two title posters (with and without kid graphics) and eight posters with rainbow bright borders, in addition to the same ten posters in grayscale. Also included is a list of the practices for students to glue into their science notebooks.
