This a comprehension unit that focuses on use of context clues to define new vocabulary words, summarizing, identifying the main idea, comparing and contrasting, use of text evidence, and includes multiple choice, T/F, and fill in the blank comprehension questions at the end. This unit requires the reading passage, Way To Go, Einstein from the Nonfiction Comprehension Cliffhangers book by Tom Conklin. This is a great unit for intermediate and middle school students to teach reading comprehension strategies. It is complete with pre-reading graphic organizers, learning goals and scales, a post reading suggested video, and an assessment. Thank you for shopping in my store and stay tuned for more intermediate lessons.
