PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. I believe in the latter." Albert Einstein (German physicist ~ 1879 - 1955)

Create a miracle of your own - enthusiasm and excitement in class !

On Einstein's birthday, March 14th, officially known as Pi Day, I use this game of facts about Einstein for a fun introduction to the man named 'Person of the Century' by Time Magazine in 1999.

I have Year 1 and Year 2 - two separate versions with different questions in English pertaining to Einstein.

There are 26 questions with two extra tie-breaker questions. Have two teams, show the question using your LCD projector, let students choose an answer, then show the correct answer and award a point.

Wondering how to 'Teach Across The Curriculum' ?

Here is a way that will capture your students' attention and help them learn about one of the most influential and intriguing individuals of our times.

Easy to use in any Math or Physics class, too, as all questions and answers are in English, all colorfully illustrated, too.

I use Year 1 with German 1 students and Year 2 with German 2 and enhance the activity with refreshments ~ a birthday cake with 'Happy Birthday Albert Einstein' on it. (62 pages)

I show the PBS documentary 'Einstein's Wife' to give students an overview of Albert and his first wife, Mileva's, life prior to his coming to the USA with his second wife, Elsa.

* TEACHER TIP *

Did you know that you can earn feedback credits each time you give a comment on a product you have purchased ?

It's easy to do.

Just go to:
* My TpT (at the top right)
* My Purchases ~ find the appropriate title from the list
* Provide Feedback (under the product title and author's name)
* Rate A through F, enter a short comment and click
* Send.

The feedback credits you earn will benefit you by lowering the cost of your future purchases.

TpT explains it pretty clearly:

For every dollar you spend on TpT, you'll earn 1 credit—and we'll round up for you, too!

If you provide fair feedback on a $4.75 item, you will earn 5 credits.

Every 20 credits you earn equals $1.00 to apply toward future TpT purchases.

To redeem credits:
Once you've earned at least 20 credits, you'll see the option to apply credits at checkout.
