El Banquillo is an opportunity for students to demonstrate to the teacher their ability to answer a variety of questions in Spanish. Students are given a list of 20 questions in advance to prepare for, and then during an assigned class time, students are interviewed for a short period of time by the teacher. Students have a limited amount of time to answer as many questions as they can from the pool, and the grade is assigned accordingly.
Students are awarded fractional points for each question, depending upon their response:
0 points -student does not understand question and cannot respond.
¼ point -student understands question, responds almost unintelligibly.
½ point -student understands question, responds intelligibly but with broken grammar and multiple errors.
¾ point -student understands question, responds intelligibly with complete sentence and mostly correct grammar.
1 point -student understands question, responds intelligibly with complete sentence, correct grammar, and detail.

¿Puedes contestar todas las 15 preguntas con perfección? ¡Puedes ser miembro de la “Pared de fama!”
Here are 8 pools of questions, which would last me an entire year. I do this activity twice a quarter or 4 times a semester.
