El Libro de la Vida is the perfect film to use while teaching about the Day of the Dead or bullfighting. It can also be used as a stand alone unit! You will be able to use this film guide for at least one week worth of plans. I have used it after teaching "Bianca Nieves y los siete toritos" by Carrie Toth and as an entire unit for the elective class of Culture and Civilization to dive into many products, perspectives and practices of Mexican culture!
This unit was designed for level 3 students and beyond.
