Students read an interview with several young people from Argentina about what they do (and don't do) to protect the environment.
The corresponding activities include:
-Conjugating verbs in the present subjunctive.
-Answering true/false questions about the content of the article, to check for comprehension. Students must correct false statements.
-Using the present subjunctive and verbs/expressions of volition in response to specific information found in the interview.
I have used this as a test, but it could easily be done as a reading activity instead!
*PLEASE NOTE: The article to which these activities correspond is not part of this download. In order to access the article, you will need to visit the following web address:
Once you are there, you will need to create a (free) account, if you do not already have one for that site. After you create an account, you will be allowed 5 free downloads. This interview is great, and in my opinion, it is well-worth the couple of minutes it will take for you to set up an account!
*PLEASE NOTE AGAIN: I did not write the interview and I do not at all profess to have done so, only the corresponding activities.
