This is a Spanish 1 project for food items. The objective is to have students design their dream menus as if they were opening a new restaurant. The project has a rubric for clear expectations and a English to Spanish word bank to help them get started. The rubric asks students to be clear and organized, include color pictures, have excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and have 5 main sections: breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, and desserts or appetizers, soups/salad, entrees/sandwiches, drinks and desserts.
There are two different vocabulary planning sheets to choose from, restaurant vocabulary page for students to use to get started, a checklist and a rubric.
