Handout in Word document in Spanish is to encourage discussion of the movie after viewing the movie (Part 1) . This is a closing activity that encourages critical thinking and classroom discussion. Key is provided but answers will vary according to student's perceptions of the movie.
Part 2 is a short Web Quest (10 questions) for students to look up more information related to the Mayan Genocide. After completing the Web Quest, students work with a partner to compare answers and then share with the class (paired work activity). A list of helpful links are also included. Key is provided.
