This Spanish Soccer Game is an excellent way to review grammar while learning about soccer in the target language! Students will have a blast reciting the Chiqui bum cheer, dancing and singing the Ay Si Te Beso song when someone scores a goal, and answering grammar or vocabulary questions to beat the opposing team. Students take turns drawing cards from the stack. Most of the cards have questions about grammar, vocabulary or a mixture of the two. However, some of the cards have expressions like Tarjeta Amarilla or Gol, so the students lose a turn or automatically score a point! Teachers will have a complete list of questions that are worth either 10 yards, 20 yards, or 30 yards. Teachers can feel free to use their own questions or have students answer conversation questions or culture questions to play this game, also. Any topics and questions will work with this fun, cultural game.
