Get your students writing sentences and using the superlative to compare groups of 3 or more in a fun, engaging way!
Students roll 2 dice (or one two times) and use the numbers to determine what they must include and compare in their sentences.
For each set:
Pages 1 and 2: have different sets of adjectives and people/things to compare
Page 3: Teacher, Class, or Pairs (you decide) choose the people to write/talk about
Page 4: Spaces for people are blank again for you to decide who chooses them, but the difference is that there are already numbers given with which to create sentences (so there is no need for dice).
*I like to give them a minimum number of words they must have (will differ depending on level) or tell them what pieces of information they must have (w/whom, where, when, why, etc.) If I want to make it last longer, I will gradually add more. For example, first they just need to include where. After a bit, they must include where and when. Then, I'll say they have to include where, when, and why, etc.
