This activity blends Spanish days of the week, dates, numbers, and weather into one culminating graphing assignment. Students begin by collecting data about the weather over the course of 2 weeks (10 days). This can be done using any weather website for students' home town or a Spanish-speaking city of their/your choice. Students complete each day of the week and date in Spanish, as well as, record the temperature and type of weather for each day - can be completed as a 5-10 min. warm-up each day. After tracking the data for 2 weeks, students use the graph templates to create a bar graph depicting the frequency of each type of weather over the 2 week span, as well as, a double line graph to depict the temperature change over the course of the 2 weeks. Included are the instructions, 2-week data collection template, bar graph template, line graph template, examples, and labels and units to guide students in the right direction for setting up each graph.
