This is a picture story in Spanish designed for young learners (Pre-K through Grade 1). The story provides comprehensible input that is engaging and it's predictable nature allows the students to guess what they will see on the next page. My Junior Kindergarteners always get a kick out of predicting the next part of the story.
Targeted vocabulary includes:
animals (bunny, bird, skunk, wolf, turtle)
landscapes (desert, forest, beach, mountains, city)
Targeted structures include:
the verbs ver and encontrar in 3rd person singular
Story can be printed and bound or placed in page protectors in a binder. I keep these printed books in my classroom library for days when technology isn't my friend, but usually I project the stories onto my whiteboard so students can view it on the big screen.
