This is an activity that I use with my IB classes to start our unit on environmental issues in the Spanish-speaking world. It asks students to research a major environmental problem in each Spanish-speaking country as well as potential causes, effects, and solutions to the problem. Students work in groups to "divide and conquer." It's a great way to give students a broad view of environmental issues to start our conversations. It's a great activity for upper level Spanish students, especially those in IB or AP courses.
