Tired of crossword puzzles or word searches to practice new vocabulary? Magic number activities are a great way to beat the blahs of those traditional puzzles! I made this very unique magic number activity in the shape of a honeycomb, or a "panal" in Spanish (hence the name), instead of the traditional square grid. The number range is -4 to 14 instead of just 1 to 19, for a little review of negative integers.
Quehaceres (chore) related vocabulary includes:
Barrer el suelo
Cortar el cesped
Darle de comer al perro
Hacer la cama
Lavar los platos
Pasar la aspiradora
Planchar la ropa
Poner la mesa
Sacar la basura
El panal del vocabulario worksheet is easy to use and great if you have a non-Spanish speaking sub (I’m sure that never happens to you! *wink, wink*). This assignment is also self correcting. If students’ answers don’t all total up to the magic number, they’ve messed up somewhere and need to fix it. An answer key is included for your convenience.
Just purchase, print, and off your students will go!
