WHAT'S INCLUDED? (PRINT AND DIGITAL)

Game 1: Time In Between

Students type in the time on the first and second clock. Then, they find the elapsed time between the two.

Game 2: Allowance

Students figure out how many minutes each kid worked for extra allowance. They give the money to the person with the correct answer.

Game 3: Time to Get Up

Students put the animal in the correct grass field based on how long the animal took a nap. They use their knowledge of elapsed time to solve.

Game 4: Go Back In Time

Students fill in the t-chart to find the elapsed time going backwards to solve each word problem.

HOW TO IMPLEMENT:

There are 11 problems included in each of the 4 games (total of 44 questions).

Digitally: The first problem is always an example for students so they know what to do. I would recommend completing 5 questions during your lesson together and assigning the other 5 for students to complete independently.

Print: Print the task cards out and put them in a math center. Have students record answers on the recording sheet provided. Students can use the self-checking answer key to check their work. You can choose between the color and black and white option.
