This sign out sheet was inspired by student struggle with telling time and managing time. In an effort to provide students with additional practice integrated into their daily routines, the following was created.
These three templates cover digital time, analog time, and digital/analog time. The last column provides students with space to calculate how much time was spent outside of the classroom. The actual problem solving can take place during a math center, during morning work, during dismissal, etc.
The final page can be used as a weekly review / discussion of elapsed time. The class can determine which partners spent the most amount of time and least amount of time in the bathrooms, hallways, clinic, etc.
