Every year my students struggle with elapsed time. After learning about measurement and time, I always found kids needed more practice with elapsed time. Our district follows a tight math pacing guide that does not allow me to continue teaching elapsed time. Yet, I wanted to make sure my students get more practice. What to do…? I decided to create these fun elapsed time cards for students to continue to practice even though we have moved to another math objective. I wanted to create something fun and appealing to the students to keep their interest as they continue to learn.
Simply copy, laminate and cut. I have created a mini-cover for each set you make. I like to place the cover, student directions, and remaining cards on a binder ring and store in my math centers. After my core math lesson, my students break out into their guided math groups and are engaged in fun content-rich activities like this math station. You can also make and bind a student set of accountability forms to monitor progress! Thank you for viewing... Now Get Ready...Get Set...Go and Enjoy!
