Elapsed time is often tricky for students. These 24 task cards allow students to practice elapsed time to the nearest 5 minute interval within an hour. All of the problems are word problems and may involve reading an analog clock. There are two sets of the same cards so you can choose whether or not you want to use the self checking QR codes.
This resource is also part of a money saving Telling Time Bundle: Task Cards and Games.
The task cards are great for a whole class game of Scoot or Roam the Room. You can use the cards for partner games in a center or as an early finisher activity. If you have access to a SMART Board you can display the file and do the cards as a class or a few problems a day as a math warm up.
