PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In this project based learning activity, the students will research the different accomplishments/ jobs that Eleanor Roosevelt completed throughout her life time.

Eleanor was known as a “Woman of Many Hats.” After the students have researched the different jobs/accomplishments of Eleanor Roosevelt, they will then pick 1 of her many jobs and create a 3D hat that represents the job/accomplishment. Every student in each group must create a different accomplishment/ job. The hat must include 4 symbols that represent the job/accomplishment. The students will use the supplies that are given to them to design their hat. They will present their own hat to the class and explain the symbols and what they stood for in
Eleanor’s life.
