Eleanor Roosevelt Reading and Activity Set
This download features 3 different options
for teaching your students about Eleanor Roosevelt! It begins with a 1-page Informational Text-style biography article about Eleanor Roosevelt. Great for a Women's History Month lesson or any other time you want to teach about the great Eleanor Roosevelt!
You can then choose to use any one or all three of these included activities based on the article:
1. A set of Common Core-aligned reading questions that focus on your students reading comprehension and understanding of Eleanor Roosevelt's life.
2. A timeline/sequencing sort in which students place key events from her life in order to fit into a graphic organizer.
3. A Fact and Opinion sort which features 6 statements from the article that students must label either "Fact" or "Opinion" before adding their own fact and opinion statement about Eleanor Roosevelt at the bottom.
This is an excellent lesson that provides a lot of options for you to use! I have actually used it as a cooperative learning
activity in which a group of students gets all 3 resources and have to work together so you get to reach each student's strengths and weaknesses.
