For the novel Eleanor & Park, this document can act as homework or a short reading analysis for each chapter. The document has 16 assignments - one for about every 20 pages. For each chapter, students answer about 8 questions on skills such as inference, theme, conflict, interpretation, and plot. Students must also identify an example of figurative language and draw the visualization. The first page is a homework responsibility sheet. For each homework the student turns in, completed, and on time, they receive a stamp. Incomplete homework receives an X and stamp, and missed homework results in an X. Students love a fully stamped homework sheet!
There are two different formats for ease of use. The first includes a graphic organizer to help students develop the skills every good reader utilizes - asking questions, making predictions, making connections, etc. The second format is just the comprehension and analysis questions.
Also included is an answer key! Not all questions have just one prescribed answer! Use at your discretion.
