Candidate Research Worksheet (digital and printable versions). This infographic style worksheet guides students through researching the candidate they support and backing up their opinions with facts.
Liberal and Conservative Platform Interactive Activity. This printable and customizable activity is designed to help students understand the general differences between liberal and conservative political positions in the United States.
American Political Parties Explained Presentation. In this presentation, the definition of political parties and the major political parties in the United States are explained, along with an infographic that places the parties along the liberal/conservative spectrum.
Electoral College Digital/Printable Worksheet. This worksheet, which can be completed digitally or printed, helps students understand the electoral college process by filling out the number of votes for each state and then completing several questions that demonstrate how many votes are needed for a candidate to win the election. Since the states are not labelled on the map, it also functions as a geography activity.
Current Events Election Digital/Printable Worksheet. Students can use this guided worksheet to research several current events that they believe should be addressed by the candidates during the election.
