This is a game that can be played as a whole class or in pairs. Students will need some background knowledge of the electoral college votes. This lesson can be used in math or social studies. Students use a map to "win" over states. When they claim a state they color it in their teams color and collect the number of electoral college votes from that state. They keep a running total of the votes they win and add them together. Each team will take turns "winning" states and coloring them in. The first team to break 270 votes, wins!
