This product is designed for students to use in Google Classroom, Google Slides.
It is an interactive lesson where students can read about the Election of 1860 and analyze how the results reflected the sectional turmoil at that time. There are text dependent questions that asks students to type answers, or highlight and underline text evidence. There is information on each of the 4 candidates, a political cartoon to analyze, an electoral college map activity, and a fun activity that has them use what they read to create a campaign poster for one of the candidates.
Teachers must have Google Classroom and students need google accounts to access this lesson.
