Elections Social Studies Passages {Printable and Digital} Distance Learning

Are you teaching about the Presidential Election 2020? These passages are the perfect way to teach about the election process and voting without containing the current candidates of the 2020 election.

These passages and questions were created to help you integrate Social Studies and information about elections in the United States into your ELAR block. I know classrooms are short on time, and this resource will give you twice the learning!

Each passage and set of questions takes up a single page and includes an optional extension activity for further learning. Multiple genres are used including graphs and maps.

These passages could be completed together in a small group setting, individually, or used for a station or center activity. The possibilities are endless!
