Product Description
This lesson is intended to be used in conjunction with TED-Ed's short animated video, "Does Your Vote Count- The Electoral College Explained."

From TED-Ed: You vote, but then what? Discover how your individual vote contributes to the popular vote and your state's electoral vote in different ways--and see how votes are counted on both state and national levels.

This short, animated video (less than six minutes) and worksheet can be used as part of a lesson on the Electoral College or used as a supplement to your regular lesson. I have used it in the past as both extra credit and as make-up work for students who missed the class lecture on the Electoral College.

This mini-lesson is appropriate for both middle and high school students.

Available in both color and black and white.
