This is a set of fill in the blank notes that I created to use in my fifth grade classroom. I hate wasting time for students to copy every word in notes, so I made these cloze notes instead. It is especially helpful for ESOL/ELL students as well as my special education students. You can use them as an accommodation or for all of your kids. They make for a great study resource!
There is a half page for notes on static electricity and a full page for notes on current electricity. The current electricity page has has pictures for the different types of circuits next to the notes. They are in color, but I also added lines around the light bulbs that are "on" so that you will still be able to tell the difference between "off" and "on" when printing in black and white. Both of the notes come with an answer key on the second page.
Here is the specific standard that this product addresses:
S5P2. Obtain, evaluate, and communicate information to investigate electricity.
S5P2a. Obtain and combine information from multiple sources to explain the difference between naturally occurring electricity (static) and human-harnessed electricity.
