Here is an easy-to-use formula study guide for electricity. The review sheet includes calculating ohm's law, power, energy, efficiency and the cost of energy.
How to use formula triangles:
Cover up the letter that you are looking for e.g., I for current. Then read what is left V over R, or Voltage divided by Resistance.
When two letters are beside each other, the two values are multiplied. If one value is over the other, the two are divided. A quick and easy way for students to remember what to do!
Joules, kWh, Watts, Volts, Amperes, Ohms
Current, Voltage, Resistance, Power, Energy
