Kids will learn about Electricity through this website: http://www.andythelwell.com/blobz/swf/blobzguide.swf
While they are researching, learning, and having fun on the website they can fill in this worksheet as a reflection of what they are learning. I have done this project with several classes and it's been a big hit with the students! They love how the material is presented and playing the games/activities. I love the quizzes they take on the website because it gives great formative feedback. I also love that the worksheet I have created makes the student reflect and write on what they have learned!
At the end of the worksheet, I also have several additional websites the kids can go to for extra practice on electricity.
With these worksheet pages you have a couple of options! You can print out the Word document hard copy like a worksheet to go along with the website. So the kids would be working on the computer on the website and they would transfer their answers to a paper pencil copy of the worksheet at their desk.
Another option, if you are familiar with Google Classroom. You could upload this Word document as a Google Doc. Then you could assign it to your students through Google Classroom. Just go to add an assignment. Then be sure to click "make a copy for each student" so that each student can type on the document while they explore the website. Then they would type on the document and turn it into you!
