Use this electricity discovery lab to teach your students about the flow of electrons, conductors, insulators, circuits (series, parallel, and short circuits) as well as about having a growth mindset. They will work in groups (I recommend groups of 4) to complete 7 missions as a team. Each student has their own electricity lab packet and must all complete each mission and get signed off by a teacher before moving on to the next mission.
Basic materials include batteries, battery holders, light bulbs, light bulb holders, copper wire, and classroom objects such as erasers, paper clips, coins, and plastic counters. Each group of 4 will need at least 2 batteries (plus holders) and 2 light bulb (plus holders).
