This is the first lab in a series of 50+ that build on the one before. A beginning lesson on how to use a Digital Multi-meter would help but can be incorporated in the labs as they progress. This lab can teach how to identify Resistors by Color Code and how to measure and verify that the right component is in the right location on a project board.

Many employability skills are hidden in each of these labs including how to follow instructions and the value of good data. The project board that I designed is included for free and was built on a simple piece of white shelving.
