Electricity Partner Plays

Electricity Partner Plays: These five partner plays are intended to be used as fluency-building activities that students can read with a partner. This set of scripts focuses on the science of electricity.

It also includes a BONUS question/answer worksheet. After reading each script, students answer the questions that accompany that particular script.

These scripts require minimal teacher support, thereby allowing teachers to work with other small groups. For teachers who implement reading centers, these plays are perfect.

This set includes these five independent scripts:
-The Basics of Electricity (electrons, electric currents, power plants)
-Conductors and Insulators (and electrical safety)
-Making Circuits (open and closed circuits, alternating and direct current)
-Series and Parallel Circuits-Sparks are Flying (static electricity, lightning, positively-charged and negatively-charged materials)
