To complete this Electromagnet Lab you will need a large iron nail, insulated copper wire, a D sized battery, and small paperclips.
Students will construct an electromagnet and use it to pick up paperclips. Students will test the numbers of coils with the number of paperclips that are picked up. They will then record their data. Next they will create a bar graph in order to represent their findings.
Students will then answer questions about their lab.
Also included you will find an information sheet with questions (and key) and a word search with electromagnet terms (and key).

How to get TPT credit to use on future purchases:
* Please go to your My Purchases page (you may need to login). Beside each purchase you'll see a Provide Feedback button. Simply click it and you will be taken to a page where you can give a quick rating and leave a short comment for the product. EACH TIME you give feedback, TPT gives you feedback credits that you use to lower the cost of your future purchases. YOUR FEEDBACK IS VERY IMPORTANT as it helps me determine which products are most valuable for your classroom so I can create more for you. ☺
